GTF to Look Into Wood Industry's Interests

A number of core issues for the Global Timber Forum (GTF) were identified at its first meeting on 22 and 23 May in Rome, the European Timber Federation reports. Industry and association representatives from around the globe are to share information about key issues for the wood sector, such as international wood trading laws, sustainable building initiatives and climate change, in the GTF and find a common position that is communicated externally.
