G. Siempelkamp boosted turnover from its machinery and plant construction business by 12.6 % to €589m last year. However, order intake fell 5.6 % to €388m. The order backlog was also 24.1 % lower than 2011 at €634m at the end of last year. The trends seen in years past have thus persisted.
