The American Hardwood Export Council (AHEC), the international trade association for the American hardwood industry has successfully hosted a ‘Designing & Working with American Hardwoods’ seminar in Bengaluru, India in partnership with the Institute of Indian Interior Designers (IIID). The seminar was organized in conjunction with the IIID Bangalore Chapter and centered around two key presentations on the range and diversity of the American hardwood forest, sustainable management, production for export, working properties of species and end use applications. The event, which was held at the Le Meridien Hotel in Bengaluru, was attended by over 120 architects, designers and manufacturers and followed an AHEC trade servicing mission to Delhi and Bengaluru.Continue Reading...
