Seventeen US plywood importers, distributors and users formed the American Alliance for Hardwood Plywood (AAHP) at the start of October. This move came in reaction to a preliminary investigation launched by the US Department of Commerce‘s International Trade Commission (ITC) into hardwood plywood imports from China on 27 September 2012.
