UPM’s visibility in national and international design projects has been strengthened during the World Design Capital Helsinki 2012 year. The most remarkable projects by the company are WDC Helsinki 2012 Pavilion made of UPM wood and composite materials; a terrace café which furniture is made of UPM ProFi composite at Three Smiths Statue in Helsinki and Suvanto lounge furniture made of formable UPM Grada wood material at the Helsinki-Vantaa airport.
