This year around 30 Vollmer customers came from Great Britain, to this year's PCD days (Polycrystalline diamond). In the Technologie- und Dienstleistungszentrum (TDZ) [Technology and Service Centre] of Vollmer, the specialists for grinding and eroding machines, the guests received detailed insights into the newest trends and technologies of PCD tool machining, from 11 to 14 July 2012. Lectures, workshops and practical exercises with Vollmer eroding machines covered the whole added value chain of PCD machining, which reaches from soldering and eroding to balancing and measuring, right up to the final polishing.
